Ileana Gherghina
As a child, I used to play in the mirror or in the fields, in my countryside and imagine I was a soprano. That was so good even though I did not have a voice! The fascinating thing was that if I believed enough in my game, it would transport me in a world which I would rule: a world in which everything was as I wanted it to be. When I grew up I went to university to become a professional actress. I believe theatre is one of the very few places where my world, my understanding of it, my way of seeing it can make me feel that I have a purpose in life. I dreamed of theatre and I still do. I dream of a future in which theatre makes me feel that I really exist.
Bogdan Mihai Florea
A professional actor, with playwriting experience (for example, the participation in the 2013 edition of the playwriting competition at the Tobacco Factory, Bristol). My interests lie in a form of theatre which can bring a type of equilibrium inside, a sort of feel-at-home atmosphere. I believe that all theatre genres are of great value if they are sincerely done. I believe very much in sincerity beyond method, style or genre. One of my ‘weirdest’ dreams is a theatre for very large audiences – a stadium theatre, with larger than life effects and huge numbers of spectators.
