An original script, directed by Adrian Sitaru, winner of over 80 international awards among which 2 BAFTA's, one Golden Bear nomination at Berlin Film Festival and winner of Best Director at Locarno Film Festival.

COUNTERPART is the story of 29-year old real-estate agent Alex who lives with his 20-year old girlfriend Lili in a new building fitted with all the mod-cons, just around the corner from the council estates they grew up in. The two spend most of their time together working out and sunbathing. But someone is watching them from across the street and the day they meet is the day their lives begin to change.

The film was released at Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2014, securing distribution with Shorts International. It is currently in its festival circuit, accepted in the competition at Vilnius International Film Festival (20th March to 3rd April 2014) and BeFilm New York (22nd-26th of April 2014).

Sarah Barker (Lili) is an up and coming actress who has worked both in film and theater. She is currently rehearsing Sheridan's The School for Scandal, which will open at the Baron's Court Theater.

Tom Holloway (Alex) is a British actor born in London. He has worked mainly in the theatre. His most recent ventures have been A Muslamic love story and All or nothing with Danny Dyer. He is currently writing a series of plays on understanding mental health.

Siddhartha Bose is an acclaimed poet, playwright and performer based inLondon. His second book Digital Monsoon has just been released by Penned in the Margins. He is currently working on his new play, The Shroud, which is funded by the Arts Council and it will premiere in 2014.
